Studying
How much time does it take each week?
The flagship course takes 8–10 hours: a lesson, the live session and an exercise. Kinetic Typography takes 6–8 hours, Blender about 8.
What if I miss a live session?
The recording appears in your account within a day. You can leave a question in the cohort chat beforehand and the mentor will answer it during the session.
Do I need After Effects experience?
Not for Interface Motion Design: module one covers the basics. The Kinetic Typography intensive needs a basic level: keyframes, layers, precomps.
How are exercises reviewed?
You upload your work (a video, a project file or a prototype link) by Sunday 23:59 Moscow time. The module mentor leaves comments within three working days.
Every exercise includes one revision, which is reviewed too.
Do you issue a completion document?
You get a school certificate listing the modules with a link to your final project. It is not a state-recognised education document.
Do you help with finding a job?
We do not promise employment. We help you build a portfolio: the final project is reviewed at a live defence, with time for revisions afterwards.

Payment
How does paying in parts work?
The course price is split into 2–6 monthly payments with no surcharge. The first payment is due when you enrol, the rest once a month on the same date.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, a full refund within the first 14 days of the course. After that there is no refund, but you can move to the next cohort once.
Can I change my plan?
You can upgrade during the first four weeks of the course by paying the difference.
How long do I keep access to the materials?
Lessons and session recordings stay available for 12 months after the course ends.

Software and hardware
Which software will I need?
After Effects, Figma and Rive for the flagship course, After Effects for the intensive, Blender for the 3D course. Blender is free and open source. In the first session we explain which plans of the other tools are enough for the exercises.
What kind of computer do I need?
16 GB of RAM or more for After Effects. For Blender a discrete graphics card helps: Cycles renders slowly on integrated graphics.
